DAY 3: TREK FROM TIKHEDHUNGA – GHOREPANI

Get energized by the breakfast and get ready with your comfortable attire and shoes for the day long trek today. Once you reach the end of Tikhedhunga village, you will start the climb on the 2767 step stone staircase to Ulleri. Your trek will continue through the forests of Rhododendrons-the national flower of Nepal and Oaks, at some places you will feel the cool breeze from the natural waterfalls. After 5-6 hours of trek, you will reach today’s destination Ghorepani. Rest and relax and get yourself ready for the following day’s trek.

DAY 4:GHOREPANI TO TADAPANI TREKKING

Today is the day you have been waiting for. Wake up before the sun and hike for an hour to reach Poonhill. As the sun rises you will be witnessing the breathtaking view of Mountain Range. And what’s more, you will even be able to see the domestic flights flying below you above the clouds!!! Now, we will be ascending towards the east for an hour and enjoy the lunch at the hill of Banthati. From here we descend for another hour before climbing a steep hill at the top of which lies Tadapani. Tadapani comprises of a few nicely built houses turned into lodges. A more central and close-up view of Machapuchre can be enjoyed from here. Trek duration: 5-6 hours

DAY 5: AM: TREK FROM TADAPANI TO CHOMRONG

After breakfast, you will begin your trek by slow climb after which we go downhill to the Modi Khola, then again, we start climbing all the way up to Chomrong Danda and then descend to Chomrong village. Trek Duration– 6-7 hours.

DAY 6: CHOMROMG TO DHOBAN TREK

Today after breakfast, we will be heading to Kuldi Ghar (3 hrs). The name Kuldi is strictly speaking applied to a single house perched on the west side of the valley. From Kuldi the route goes very steeply down to a band of rock and then levels out, running through thickets of bamboo in the bottom of the gorge, keeping on the west side of the river. The meadow of Tomo is passed and then we reach our final destination for the day- Dhoban Trekking Duration – 7 hours.

DAY 7: TREK TO SOUTH ANNAPURNA GLACIER BASIN

Get yourself ready to continue your journey to South Annapurna Glacier Basin. Today we begin by climbing towards Hinko Cave, and from the first big cave, descend a short way and cross a broad full of avalanche debris. Straight ahead is the high lateral moraine of the south Annapurna glacier, this is the site of the Machhapuchare base camp and one can either camp here or continue north-west, staying above the glacial moraine.

Trekking Duration – 5½ hours

DAY 8:SOUTH ANNAPURNA GLACIER BASIN TO ANNAPURNA SOUTH BASE CAMP

Enjoy your breakfast and proceed to Annapurna South Base Camp. On up a wide-ranging green path for about 1.5 hrs, and then climb on to the lateral moraines and own the other side onto the glacier. Walking up the bed of the glacier is safe and quite easy and the 1970 British expedition Base Camp is reached after another 90 mins. The trip is best done from the lower camp, carrying only lunch, and the best are probably obtained from the crest of the moraine. Return to camp around tea time.

Trekking Duration– 6 hours.

DAY 9:TREK TO BAMBOO CAMP

Get up in the early morning if you want to devour the magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas from ABC. After taking breakfast, we start descending from ABC to Bamboo back through MBC, Deurali, Dovan and finally reach Bamboo. Heading back down to the valley is much easier than climbing up. You will see the waterfalls that drop down from a high point to the rocks below. We pass through the forests with great views of Fishtail and Hiunchuli mountains and reach Bamboo Camp

Trekking Duration– 6-7 hours.

DAY 10:BAMBOO CAMP – GHANDRUK TREK

Enjoy your breakfast and continue your journey to Ghandruk. You will pass through lush green forest. The mountains will play high and seek with you by keep company on your journey to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is the wonderful viewpoint to relish the Machhapucchre Himal (Mt. Fishtail). It is a farming village of Gurung community of Nepal. If you have some free time in the afternoon, which you can invest in visiting the Gurung Village.

DAY 11:TREK TO DHAMPUS

Treat yourself with breakfast and then, get yourself ready to go down to Dhampus. Enjoy the trail with rhododendron and green farm lands. Rest and relax in Dhampus.

Trekking duration– 4½ hours.

DAY 12: BACK TO POKHARA

Today you will be going back to Pokhara. After the wonderful yet tiresome trek you can relax and rest in Spa in Pokhara.

DAY 13: FLY BACK KATHMANDU

You will fly back to Kathmandu today. Rest of the time is free to explore the streets of Kathmandu on your own.

Today you will bid your farewell to Nepal until next time as you board your flight back home.
